Swiss chard:
Swiss chard is one of the popular green leafy vegetables. Chard is very low in calories and fats and it is highly recommended in controlling cholesterol and for weight management programs. Chard leaves are an excellent source of antioxidant vitamin, vitamin-C and vitamin-K which is known for promoting bone health. Swiss chard is also a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin-A, and flavonoids anti-oxidants like ß-carotene, α-carotene, lutein and zea-xanthin. People who have eye problems should drink Swiss chard juice because it contains beta-carotene as well as vitamin A. Both of these nutrients are good for healthy eyes.
Regular inclusion of chard in the diet has been found to prevent osteoporosis, iron-deficiency anemia, and vitamin-A deficiency; and it is believed to have nutrients that protect against cardiovascular diseases, colon and prostate cancers.
Cabbage:
Cabbage juice is at the top of the cancer prevention list. The high levels of cancer prevention is due to its amount of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and levels of glucosinolates. In addition to this, juicing cabbage will increase your daily amounts of carotenoids, polyphenols, and anthocyanins. All anti-oxidants that will increase your overall health.
Carrots:
Carrots are the goldmine of vitamins and minerals and the largest reservoir of beta-carotene is from carrots. Beta-carotene is essential for improving eye vision. Besides, it supports immune function, gives strength to bones and improves thyroid gland function. Along with carotene, there are other anti-oxidants in carrots that prevent inflammation and an outburst of cancerous cells. Due to its natural anti-septic properties, carrot juice gives you the strength to recover quickly from wounds and injuries. And those who take carrot juice daily are less likely to develop inflammation and swellings.

Ingredients:
6 leaves of Swiss Chard
2 Apples
1 wedge Red Cabbage
2 large Carrots
1 piece Ginger (thumb sized)
1/4 lemon
Wash all ingredients, peel lemon, and run all ingredients through your juicer and enjoy.
