Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in North America today. In fact, heart-disease is the cause of almost one-third of all deaths in the United States. The factors that contribute to this debilitating disease include stress, smoking and high fat diets. All factors that can and should be avoided. High fat diets are simple to alter with the introduction of a juicing diet. Juicing is a way to ensure you receive all the vitamins and nutrients that fruits and vegetables (among other ingredients) can bring to your body. The teenage years are baffling for any parent. Every interaction with your teen may seem difficult, but on the bright side, food pickiness is no longer an issue. Remember the toddler years when you thought your child would turn into a chicken nugget if he ate one more. Teenagers are known to eat almost anything you put in front of them. Juicing with Young Kids

As your children get older, their likes and dislikes of foods will change dramatically. What your little one wouldn’t touch, he may now be asking for every minute. Children cannot live on a juicing diet consisting of only sweet fruits, but can certainly receive their vital nutrients from a supplemental juicing diet.
Children this age don’t tire of repetition. The variety you may think they want in their life is untrue. Once they find a juicing recipe they love, they will want it round-the-clock for the next few months. One option for juicing is to serve your kids everything you consume from your juice extractor. The only difference you may want to consider is diluting the juice slightly. February is a month that seems to be centered around hearts, chocolates, flowers and everything love. February is also designated as the national star fruit and exotic vegetables month by the Center for Disease Control. Some of these exotic vegetables cannot be juiced or yield too little results for them to be efficient for juicing ingredients. Focusing on the “exotic” aspect of these fruits and vegetables can still be beneficial and help bring variety to your juicing diet. Broaden your juicing horizons and try to branch out this month and try at least one fruit and vegetable in your juicer a week.
One of the most exotic and easily found fruits is star fruit. Star fruit is a tropical fruit that has a five-point star shape when cut. They are typically yellow or greenish and have a flavor similar to lemony pineapple.
