Ever since we were kids, we have been hearing that drinking eight glasses of water a day is good for our health. It helps to keep you hydrated especially when you go out for exercise. In fact, one of the best ways to keep yourself healthy is by staying hydrated.
When most of the water is lost in sweating, it takes along some of the essential salts. Thus dehydration results in an electrolyte imbalance. When the electrolyte equilibrium is disturbed, your metabolism and energy level will get affected. In case the condition of electrolyte imbalance remains persistent, then this can lead to a condition of confusion and anxiety and also some health problems.
